We had a special visitor in worship this morning. As one of her final engagements, the Mayor came to present the chair of the school council with a 'chain'.   During the year the school council had visited the chambers in the Town Council building and had met with the Mayor. She was kind enough to come and attend a school council meeting at school. She was so impressed with how the children had conducted themselves that she wanted to raise their profile. As Mayor, she wears her chain to many events and she wanted the chair of the school council to have a chain to wear when representing the school. The children were thrilled! The Mayor has attended many other events with us at Trinity and this morning she was able to share some of her highlights.  We would like to send our thanks to the Mayor, not only for this lovely gesture, but also for all the support she has given to Trinity during the past year.
