Our Class Blog 2020 - 2021

A big thank you from me too. It's been an absolute delight to teach the Hedgehogs. This was my last lesson, teaching the children how to draw people. The children drew people performing in the Olympics. I wish everyone a very happy summer and all the best for the future. Miss Brown

Wednesday 21st July

Well done, we made it! We have had a super year together and all have achieved so much. We enjoyed sports, playing and gardening time this week to finish off our year as a Hedgehog.

Miss Brown and myself would like to say a big thank you for all the cards and gifts. We appreciate you kind words and hope you all have a lovely summer holidays!

Wednesday 14th July

Today we were lucky to have a video call from Andy Lapthorne, a professional British wheelchair tennis player. We asked him lots of questions and found out more about the sport and his achievements.

"How do you get to be in the Paralympics?" Spending a year all over the world playing lots of people and being in the top 16 in the world.

"What medals have you won?" 3 Paralympic medals (1 bronze, 2 silver) and 14 grand slams.

"How long have you been playing tennis?" Since I was 11 years old, professionally from 16 years old. I am now 30.

"How do you hold the racket and move the chair?"  Lots of practise, develop chair skills. I use my left hand for the racket and moving the wheels and the other hand (right) to steer the wheelchair so I can get to where I want to be quickly.

Thank you Andy Lapthorne for speaking to us, we wish you the best of luck for Tokyo 2021!

Wednesday 30th June

Hedgehogs have been enjoying their week so far. They have been practising their measurement skills and focused on measuring and comparing lengths, height and mass. They have also been very energetic and enjoyed some outdoor fun and games practising their homophones. Great work Hedgehogs, keep it up!

Thursday 24th June

We are having a lovely week so far! This term in RE we are learning about Judaism. Below are some pictures of the Hedgehogs making their own Torah. We learnt about the Hebrew alphabet and the children had a go at writing some Hebrew lettering in their scrolls. The decoration was all linked to Jewish symbols such as the Star of David. Well done Hedgehogs.

Friday 18th June

Hedgehogs have had a brilliant week. In maths, they have been solidifying the skills at telling the time focusing on 5minute intervals. They then went on to describe position and direction which will be continued into next week with the addition of movement.
In English, they have been thinking about our new class story Amazing Grace and boxing up the main parts as well as partaking in some shared writing. Our new topic has engaged our hedgehogs, in particular the history of the Olympics and opening ceremonies. We watched opening ceremonies through time and focused on the traditions of these e.g. head of state opening them, Olympic flame, Olympic flag being raised, doves being released and athlete parades. I wonder can your child remember why doves are released?

Welcome back! We have had a great week so far and today we enjoyed a PE lesson on the field, learning about teamwork and throwing and catching skills. We made the activity harder by catching a beanbag with one hand!

Thank you for taking a note that PE is now Monday and Thursday.

Our PE session today

What a brilliant half term and a lovely week. The Hedgehogs have been busy writing stories this week and learning to solve lots of division problems. Today has been an extra exciting day as the children enjoyed their marble treat. Here are some pictures of our afternoon.

Have a lovely half term and see you on Monday 7th June.

Miss Brown and Mrs Hoiles

Take a look on our video resource centre to see what the hedgehogs have been up to this week.

Wednesday 19th May

Hedgehogs have had a fantastic start to their week and have been super focused on their learning. They had Faith in themselves that they would succeed and succeed they have. They have been amazing coders in their Computing lessons and super math wizzes with division. They have joined in with adding more description to their writing using lots of adjectives, verbs and adverbs. To finish off our Wednesday afternoon they enjoyed practising their 'Maypole dancing' and cannot wait to share their routine with everyone... watch this space!

Friday 14th May

Another fantastic week. Well done Hedgehogs! This week during worship time we have been exploring our school values ‘Growing in Faith, Hope and Love’. We linked the values to things we do in school and discussions we have had. The children said:

‘God helps you to achieve and believe in yourself.’

‘Be truthful, be kind, be honest and listen.’

‘We are positive about our learning.’

‘God will give us courage and hope.’

‘Perseverance means not giving up, keep trying and have hope.’

‘Think about the task, keep trying then try again.’

‘Compassion and love means looking out for other people’s feelings’

Some lovely thoughts so far, excellent.

Have a great weekend.

Miss Brown and Mrs Hoiles

Friday 7th May

We have had another great week in Hedgehogs! As part of our topic about the beach, we have all enjoyed finding out about hermit crabs. Ask the children to tell you the story about the mackerel tins! Our research resulted in some super fact files all about crabs. The children thought carefully about how to group their ideas into paragraphs. In maths we have been learning different strategies to add up. Today we have been adding money totals together, thinking carefully about taking the largest number, adding the tens and then adding the units.

Have a lovely weekend and we will see you all next week.

Miss Brown and Mrs Hoiles.

QR codes for research about hermit crabs and plastic pollution

Wednesday 28th March

Another super start to our shorter week this week. We have had a delivery of a Jellyfish and book informing us of pollution in the oceans. This book was written by an Author who lives close to us (Southbourne). See if you can find out more about her story and ways to help keep our beaches and oceans cleaner.

We are using 'Jessie the Jellyfish' as a hook into our non-fiction writing this fortnight. We will start to think about our own fact files on Friday and begin planning, researching and writing them next week.

In Maths, we have been adding and subtracting across the tens boundary. This is quite tricky so lots of practise will help!

Remember to loot on Teams for your home learning.

Take care and have a good rest of your week and enjoy your bank holiday weekend!

Fun in the Sun!

Welcome back! It has been great to see the children again. They have worked so hard as always. Here are some pictures of us using oil pastels to recreate a famous painting by Paul Cezanne.

Happy Easter to everyone in Hedgehogs. Well done for all your hard work this term. Have a lovely Easter holiday and we look forward to seeing you after Easter, ready for lots of learning. Miss Brown and Mrs Hoiles

Friday 26th March

What a busy week once again! This week we have been busy learning about unit and non unit fractions. Ask your child to explain what this means! (One quarter and one third are unit fractions, two quarters and three quarters are non unit as the numerator is more than one). On Thursday and Friday we learnt about equivalent fractions and how two quarters is the same as one half. In literacy we have loved learning about Handa's Surprise and next week we will be writing our own stories based on the book. Art has been very exciting the last few weeks. Last week we printed images from Africa and today we have recreated the prints we see on animals using oil pastels. Well done Hedgehogs! Miss Brown and Mrs Hoiles.

Friday 19th March

Well done Hedgehogs, another brilliant week! This week we have begun learning about fractions. We have learnt about halves and quarters and on Thursday found a quarter of amounts. Ask you child to tell you a quarter of 4, 8, 12, 16. We even talked about a quarter of 100! In literacy we have been learning about the features of letters and on Friday wrote some of our own.

We have had quite a bit of discussion in science. Our topic is 'Plants and what plants need to grow'. Last week we planted some cress and decided to grow some in the dark and some in the light. Talk to your child about what happened!

Here is the label from some iris bulbs that Miss Brown got for Christmas. We had quite a discussion about why the instructions say to start the growing process in the fridge!! Hedgehogs - what colour do you think the leaves were when I took the plant out of the fridge? They weren't the colour they are now!!

Have a lovely weekend Hedgehogs!

Miss Brown and Mrs Hoiles

Welcome back!

What a lovely week it has been, getting back into our learning in school. In numeracy we have been learning to read and create pictograms and deciphering keys! Our learning in literacy has continued on the theme of meerkats and today we have written some excellent information leaflets. Well done to all the Hedgehogs for a superb start back to school after lockdown. A fantastic week! Well done to you all.

Miss Brown and Mrs Hoiles.

Just to let you know, all remote learning is now being delivered via Teams.

Mrs Hoiles and Miss Brown

Hello Hedgehogs!

Thank you for sending in your learning. We will hope to share some later on in the week.

For now keep accessing your learning daily through Teams. Myself and Miss Brown will be setting you daily activities and there will be videos (looms) for extra guidance and support in some lessons.

You are all doing a brilliant job of learning from home! Take care, Mrs Hoiles smiley

Hello everyone, although the start to the academic year hasn't been what we would have liked, let's hope we can enjoy it as best as we can and look forward to seeing each other again (hopefully in the not so distant future).  It was so lovely to see so many happy and grown up children yesterday and to meet new ones too! I am looking forward to teaching and learning with each and every one of you whether it be in person or online. I have had the pleasure of reading the children's writing about their holidays today and it sounds like you have had lots of fun!

As you are aware there will be books with a few learning prompts provided by the school for this next period of home learning.  If you have any queries please email the office and myself or Miss Brown will try to get back to you as soon as possible. For now, enjoy your home learning and if you would like to share what you have learnt at home please send in photos for us to look at and share with each other. Remember do what you can, enjoy and take breaks when needed. All the best, Mrs Hoiles smiley

What a wonderful last week of term we have had! Although things haven't been able to be quite the same this year we have enjoyed a lovely Christmassy week and enjoyed watching The Year 4 Nativity and the Year 3 Carol concert from our classroom!

We have completed some Christmassy multiplication and division and created our own reindeer or Christmas tree by cracking the code! We made our Christmas hats using feathers and plenty of glitter as well as making Christmas pudding placements for our party lunch yesterday and created some paper plate Christmas trees!

Party day was super we had a great time playing some games and Father Christmas bought us some wonderful new equipment for the playground!

I have had such a lovely time teaching Hedgehogs since September, what an amazing class they are! The progress that has each child has made since September despite everything has been incredible. I will really miss each and every member of the class but I am sure they are looking forward to January with Mrs Hoiles and Miss Brown.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and well deserved break,

Mrs Holmes :)

Hedgehogs have impressed me so much with their learning this week! We have had a super week and are looking forward to our final week before Christmas!

In maths this week we have been focussing on using arrays to solve multiplication problems using our 2, 5 and 10x tables. We have all been working hard to solve these independently using jottings to help us! We've also learnt some special tricks to help us including knowing that all multiples of 10 end in 0 and all multiples of 5 end in 5 or 0! Ask us about the 2x table! We have just begun our learning about division by groping and we will go on to explore the relationship between division and multiplication. Please login to MyMaths to access this weeks Home Learning.

In Art this week we have continued our learning about Andy Warhol and this week became pop artists ourselves, repeating our own image and using lots of different bright colours on each image! They look very effective!

Our English learning this week saw us focus on the rules for adding suffixes '-ed, -ful, and -less' and putting these words into sentences. We also thought about the calamity that Mog the cat had created last week and thought of our own stories about what our own or friends pets might get up to over the festive period! Some fantastic ideas were had by all!

In Geography this week we continued our learning from last week about The Commonwealth and the continents and oceans. We focused more on the countries that make up the UK and the different features of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales!

We thoroughly enjoyed both PE sessions this week we were outside with coach Elliot on Monday afternoon practising our fundamental skills and on Tuesday we continued our dancing, this week creating a dance where we were mirror imaging our partners! Have a look at some of the photos below!

I hope you all have a lovely restful weekend and look forward to seeing Hedgehogs for our last week next week! :)

We  have had a lovely week in Hedgehogs this week and our learning has become a little Christmassy!

In English we have been reading the story and watching the advert of 'Mog's Christmas Calamity' to inspire our writing! We have focused on using accurate 'ed' endings and using different conjunctions to join our sentences. We have also written a newspaper report about how Mog was a hero in the end!

In maths we have started our learning about multiplication and division. We focused this week on thinking about equal groups, then moved onto adding using repeated addition and then making arrays and finding the next number sentence. We have been working on our counting in 2s, 5s and 10s. Home Learning this week is linked to this so please have a go!

In Art we have been finding out about the famous artist Andy Warhol. We had a go at some pop art colouring ourselves ready to create our Andy Warhol inspired pictures next week.

In Science this week we have been thinking about how to stay healthy, what foods are healthy and what are more 'treat' foods and how much of each type of food we should aim to eat. The children planned their own meal trying to incorporate the different food groups.

We also wrote super letters to Father Christmas this week and had a huge surprise when we went to post them today! What a wonderful way to end the week!

Our week ended with a special treat for filling our marble jar! Pyjamas and a film - perfect!

Have a lovely weekend :)

We have had another super week in Hedgehogs and have worked so hard!

In maths we  have been learning all about money! We have been learning to recognise coins and notes, use different coins to make the same amount and compare amounts using < and >. We talked about the fact that we aren't seeing much cash being spent in shops etc at the moment and that we see lots of card payments! This weeks MyMaths home learning is linked to our learning all about money.

In English we started the week learning about irregular verbs and have tried to use some of these in our writing about the Queen this week. We read the story of The Queen's Hat by Steve Anthony, rewrote it carefully using lots of our Year 2 skills and then used the idea to create our own stories based around that theme! The Queen's scarf and bag have been flying all over Verwood!

Our Dance lesson was a highlight this week, we listened to circus music and in pairs had to create our own circus themed dance keeping in time to the music and exaggerating lots of our moves! Please have a look at some of the pictures below!

We had a whole Art afternoon this week where we used clay to sculpt the Queen, we used lots of different tools to help us. Some of us chose to create just the Queen's head whilst others chose to sculpt  her whole body complete with corgis!

In addition to MyMaths this week, please have a look at our knowledge mat about the Queen. How much have you learnt so far? What other facts do you know about the Queen?

We have been checking Keywords in class all week, we are really impressed with the children's reading and spelling of these words, practising these at home really does make a difference!

Have a lovely weekend! :)

We have had another super week in Hedgehogs where everybody has worked so hard and kept going even when things were a bit challenging!

in maths this week we have continued our focus on addition and subtraction of 2-digit numbers but this week with an exchange - so it was a little challenging at first! We used lots of resources at the start of the week to help us and are now beginning to use jottings or the column method to help us. Please practise more at home when you get the chance and login to MyMaths for this weeks' home learning.

In English this week we have had fun writing riddles using lots of our Year 2 skills including different sentence types, noun phrases and the use of adverbs to tell us more about a verb. We also learnt all about the Queen's corgis and wrote some fantastic information pages using headings to help organise our writing. Our new Read, Write Inc groups are working really well, please remember to send in book bags daily so we can hear your children read and check key words.

We have continued our learning all about the Queen and this week watched some video footage of her coronation. In art we completed pictures of the Queen, looking carefully at one side and completing the other side! We used different grades of pencil to help create the effects.

In PE we have enjoyed our continuing to improve our fundamental skills with Elliot and we all enjoyed working together to create a new dance!

This week was anti-bullying week so we have spent some time in Worship and PSHE thinking about what bullying is, how we can be an upstander and knowing who we can talk to about this. The children also created their own logo with lots of creative ideas.

Please continue to read at home as well as practising those key words/suffixes that are in book bags/tins.

We hope you have a lovely restful weekend, ready for another exciting week next week! :)

Hedgehogs have worked so hard this week and should be very proud of themselves! They certainly deserve a restful weekend!

In English this week we have been learning all about the Queen, the children planned a wrote a fantastic fact page with lots of interesting and different information! Did you know that the Queen owns all of the whales and the dolphins in UK waters? The children worked hard to use different sentence starters and noun phrases to make their writing more interesting. We have also been using adverbs and working on spelling our words accurately.

In maths we have been learning to add and subtract two digit numbers, we started off using resources, then moved onto jottings and some children are now using written methods to solve these problems. We have been so impressed with the levels of perseverance in Hedgehogs this week! Well done everyone!

In PE, Elliott the coach is back. On Monday we started our Fundamental skills sessions with him, working on our balancing and keeping our bodies strong! We have also started Dance this week, we worked hard to create our own three movement sequences and tried to keep in time to the music.

In art we were exploring the use of different types of pencils and created some wonderful pictures of the Queen! We played glockenspiels in music to our Ho! Ho! Ho! song and tried especially hard to play at the right time!

So far we have learnt lots of facts for our new topic about the Queen and Buckingham Palace and we're looking forward to finding out even more next week.

Key words/ common exception words have come home in book bags this week. Please add them to your tins and practise as much as possible. When practising to spell these words, try to put them into a sentence too! Read Write Inc. groups have also changed so please be aware that your child may be bringing home a new level. Well done Hedgehogs for all of your hard work!

Please login to MyMaths to access this weeks Home Learning. You could also practise addition and subtraction of 2 digit numbers (no exchange) e.g. 45 - 32 =       25 + 44  =

Have a lovely weekend :)

Mrs Holmes

I hope you all had a lovely half term and are rested and ready for a new term. What a super start we have made to Term 2 in just four days! The children have come back to school happy, settled, focussed and excited to learn!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          We have spent this week learning all about Fireworks and the Gunpowder Plot, we had great fun in art making pop-up firework pictures and wrote some fantastic firework poetry using some brilliant noun phrases and adverbs.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Hedgehogs have all worked so hard in maths this week and earned themselves two class marbles for their amazing effort and achievements. We have been learning how to add and subtract multiples of 10, starting practically using dienes, then drawing our dienes and for some us beginning to use written methods. Well done everybody. Please look at MyMaths for this weeks home learning.

With Remembrance day approaching, we spent this week recapping why we remember and writing our own thoughtful prayers.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    In Science we started our new topic Animals Including Humans and started off learning about animals and their young.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 The children have all been working so hard in Read Write Inc. and have been reassessed so groups will be changing slightly next week. Please send books into school daily so we are able to hear the children read. We are also hoping to send home Key Words again from Week 3 and would be grateful if you could send in your child's tin if you still have this at home. Thank you!

Have a lovely, restful weekend, Mrs Holmes :)

It's the end of Term 1 already! The Hedgehogs have worked so hard this term and should be so proud of all they have achieved, they certainly deserve their half term!

We have had a super end to the term and this week saw a particular highlight with our Medieval Day! The costumes were just amazing so thank you all! We started the day with painting and created some super silhouette pictures of ravens. we had a go at Jousting in the hall and listened and acted out a dragon story! Throughout the day the children made bread with Mrs Tierney and we all tried this at the end of the day! Most of us ate the entire roll! We also made some fantastic shields with super designs on them! Please have a look below at some of the pictures from our day.

In maths this week we have been using rulers to measure and order accurately in cm as well beginning to use our knowledge of addition and subtraction facts and linking them to adding multiples of 10 e.g. if 7 +  3 = 10 then 70 + 30 = 100.

In English we have been practising using the 'ed' suffix accurately and wrote a newspaper article about a dragon who had burnt down an entire castle as well writing about the Princess who stood up to the dragon - we used noun phrases and conjunctions like and, but, so and because to extend our sentences.

In Science we were thinking about the importance of recycling and how and why we do this.

We have had a lovely first term in Hedgehogs and everyone has worked so hard and learnt so much!

Please find this weeks Home Learning on MyMaths and have a look at the Knowledge Mat to see how much you have learnt this term!

Have a wonderful half term break and I look forward to seeing you all again for Term 2!

Mrs Holmes :)

What a great week we have had in Hedgehogs this week!

We have worked so hard in writing, we read the story of George and the Dragon and have written letters using different sentence types as well as using some amazing noun phrases and powerful verbs to describe the dragon! I have been so impressed with the progress being made. We are making a big effort to write in cursive or pre-cursive and keep our writing neat.

We have been catching up on our fractions learning this week and have learnt all about halves and quarters, today we even had a go at finding three quarters of a shape and we spotted that 1/2 is the same as 2/4! Home Learning this week is linked to this.

Our castles are finished and everyone was proud of their achievements and teamwork! We had drawbridges on string and paperclips so they moved, a castle 'Keep' inside one and a graveyard on another! The children asked that all of their photos went onto the blog so those at home could see their creations so please have a look below!

We have spent the last part of our Friday afternoons thinking about the environment and our outside area. We now have a bird table and this afternoon created some pots of food to go it. We hope we get some visitors soon!

Thank you for the cereal boxes that have been sent in, the children are very excited about our medieval day next Tuesday!

Just a little reminder that reading books need to come back in on a Friday so that we are able to give out new ones on a Monday. Thank you :) Please login to My Maths for this weeks Home Learning.

Have a lovely weekend!

This week seems to have flown by! We have had a really busy week and had lots of fun with our learning too!

We filmed our Harvest Festival on Wednesday and the school watched as part of Worship this morning. Hedgehogs worked so hard to learn their lines and actions for the song and story - by the time we filmed they did it all themselves and should be very proud!

In P.E this week we have been working on improving our catching skills, we worked independently at first bouncing the ball and catching it and then moved on to doing this with our partners. We started off close together but the more confident we got the further apart we got! Well done Hedgehogs!

Science was good fun this week too - the castle roof was leaking and we had to find out which material was the most suitable for a new roof! We went outside to carry out our investigation!

In Literacy we read the story 'Dragon Stew' and then created our own dragon stew using command sentences, imperative verbs and noun phrases. I'm not sure I'd want to eat some of the stews created!

In maths this week we have been focussing on addition and subtraction, talking about how we use maths in every day life and solving real life problems as well as trying to solve those tricky missing number sentences! Home Learning this week is linked to this and you will find this on MyMaths, Please login and have a go!

We hope you have managed to enjoy your reading books at home this week. We will be putting in new books on Monday.

Have a lovely weekend, Mrs Holmes :)

Wow we have finished week 4 already! This week has been good fun, with a highlight being beginning making our castles from our designs last week. We have thought about joining techniques and the children were so focussed and so creative in their thinking! We will be carrying these on next week. and will hopefully have more pictures to share with you.

In maths this week we have been focussing on addition and subtraction and the link between them. We have been finding the inverse using our bonds to 10 and 20 and reminding ourselves of how to add and subtract accurately.

We have been fact writing in Literacy and using all of our knowledge of castles to write using different sentence types, our writing today was super and included lots of our Year 2 skills!

Read, Write Inc, has got off to a super start, the children seem to be really enjoying their groups and we can already see progress! We are looking forward to sending home books linked to our groups next week.

We have dodged the rain and made it outside for our P.E lessons as well as our daily mile this week. We have been practising our ball skills in P.E and learning how to kick the ball carefully and with control.

On Tuesday 20th October we are planning to have our Medieval Day, we will be asking the children to dress up for this. More details to follow.

We will be filming our Harvest Festival next week too!

Home learning for this week links to our maths lessons, you will find this on MyMaths. Please continue to read and practise the Year 1 and Year 2 common exception words.

Have a lovey weekend :)

Hedgehogs have worked so hard again this week and have all produced some amazing writing! We have been learning the story of the Little Red Hen to share at our Harvest festival and wrote some great descriptive writing about life on a farm. In maths we have worked hard consolidating our knowledge of the equals sign and comparing and ordering two digit numbers using < and >, as well as continuing to practise our place value number skills.

We had fun in Science, working out what materials could change shape by bending, twisting and stretching! In PSHE we spent some time thinking about what makes us happy, it was lovely to hear that family and friends make lots of us happy!

In History we were learning all about Corfe Castle, it is great that so many of us have been there and can share experiences. We spent some time designing our own castles making sure they were purposeful and functional but also making sure we could defend ourselves if we need to!

We had our first Harvest Festival practice this week and went down to the hall and used the stage - the children were so excited! Whilst things may be a little different this year we are still so excited to keep practising so we can film it and everyone can enjoy from the website soon!

Please find this week's home learning on MyMaths. If you have any trouble with logins please let us know. Please continue to read as much as you can and practise those Year 1 and 2 Common Exception Words.

Next week we will be starting our Read Write Inc. groups again!

Have a lovely weekend! :)

Hedgehogs have had yet another super week. We have been really busy this week learning about Hattie from the story 'Don't Hog the Hedge' and we have been remembering our capital letters and full stops as well as making our writing more interesting using adjectives. We wrote super character descriptions about Hattie the Hedgehog! In maths this week we have spent some more time focusing on the place value of 2-digit numbers, the children will be able to show you when completing their home learning!

Our new topic in Science is all about materials, we spent some time looking around the classroom and working out which objects were made from which materials and why. In computing we learnt all about the 'repeat' and 'timer' buttons in coding and created an algorithm for a hero and a turtle!

The weather has been so lovely this week, we have been out every day to run the daily mile and enjoyed our P.E lessons outside, with Elliott the coach, teaching us on Monday. We are learning how to send and receive balls and using our aiming skills really well.

This afternoon we had some fun with the glockenspiels, playing along to some music. It was wonderful to hear!

Home Learning

Please login to 'MyMaths' to find the home learning linked to place value this week.

Continue to read as much as you can and practise the Year 1 and Year 2 Common Exception Words (reading and spelling!)

Have a lovely weekend, Mrs Holmes :)

What a wonderful week we have had in Hedgehogs! The children have all settled so well and have adapted quickly to the new routines and structures. We are very proud of them all!

We have spent the week learning all about hedgehogs and can tell you so many interesting facts, we created super posters and then have all done some fantastic writing using our capital letters, full stops and question marks accurately as well as joining our sentences using conjunctions.

Hedgehogs have spent time outside creating their own hedgehog sculptures from natural materials.

We also used leaves and fork painting to create our own hedgehogs for our classroom display.

We ended the week listening to some music and seeing if we could move to the beat! What a busy week!

Have a restful weekend :)
