Emergency School Closure

 

If there is a need to close the school before the start of the day due to exceptional or unforeseen circumstances, the closure will be announced on the local radio station Heart FM, posted on the school website and by email.

 

Please aim to check the website rather than telephoning the school as the lines become very busy. We will also endeavour to post an answer-phone message on the school number for those without internet access.

 

If the school needs to be closed due to an emergency during the school day, we will send out an email and you will also be contacted by telephone. All children will be supervised until they are collected. Please keep the office informed of any changes to your contact numbers.

 

The school will soon be operating a text message service which can also be used in the event of a school closure.  Please inform the school office if your mobile phone number changes.
