A warm well done to all of our Easter Bonnet Prize winners! Thank you as ever to the endlessly kind Mrs Newnham, who has once again provided prizes. Happy Easter all! Have a lovely few weeks!
This week, we had the pleasure of hosting St James' First School and Nursery - Wimborne Wimborne St Giles CE VA First School and Nursery and Cranborne CE First School and Nursery for the latest installment in the Priory Cup. This time, it was netball. A wonderful event, with some excellent netball, great team work and universally great attitudes to being outside and having fun! It was inspiring to see the children flourish and also come together as a family of schools. Thank you to our umpires Max and Louisa, who helped the afternoon run so smoothly. Well done to Cranborne CE First School and Nursery who won the tournament, with some fantastic netball!
We would like to thank the wonderful Dorset Music Service for hosting Trinity, along with a number of other local schools at the Verwood Hub. We were thrilled to be involved in an excellent afternoon concert, the children enjoyed their opportunity to shine and sing together!
Still an opportunity to get involved!
Well that was awesome...! This week, a number of our Year 2, 3 and 4 children performed the first of their Rocksteady Music School Concerts. The musicians were great, the crowd got involved, whooped, cheered and clapped and our Band Manager Lizzie was brilliant! Can't wait for the next set of songs...
We are very proud of our gymnasts this week. On Monday, fifteen children from Years 3 and 4 took part in the East Dorset Gymnastic Event at Ferndown Upper School. It was a brilliant event, with lots of new experiences, lots of fun and even a medal or two! Well done to all of the boys and girls and our thanks to the volunteers and organisers, especially Mrs Hastings who gave up so much time preparing the three teams!
The children at Trinity spent a lovely afternoon, as part of British Science Week. We were in mixed age groups, asking and attempting to answer questions about animals and creatures, based on the theme of curiosity. A wonderful, thought provoking afternoon!
A few familiar faces in this team...
Final World Book Day Post from us ... A huge thank you to our families, who gave up their time to come and read this week. It meant a lot to the children. It shows, once again what a fantastic community we are all part of! Some of you have asked for the results of our Masked Reader... so here are the results in full!
One of the highlights from World Book Day, yesterday was the paired reading in the sunshine! Our eldest children, read to our youngest children - a lovely moment as part of a great day!
One more reader for you... Who is this Mystery Reader?!
Another one before World Book Day in the morning... Where have we heard this voice before? Can you guess this Mystery Reader?
Our next mystery reader... Who could it be?
This week at Trinity, there have been some mysterious readers... Who could this be?
All very exciting...
