School Tour

Location

Our school is surrounded by green fields and is situated on the outskirts of Verwood.  It is set in spacious grounds which we have developed as educational and conservation areas.

Accommodation

Trinity’s school buildings in Cooper’s Lane were opened in 2002, having been designed by a local architect. The school building is comprised of three sections, based on a Swedish chalet design on the outside, and very light and airy inside.  We are fortunate to have such a beautiful countryside setting, and extensive school grounds, which we have very much enjoyed developing as an outdoor learning environment for our children. The size of our school hall is particularly generous and each class is housed in a spacious room, with their own access to the outside. We are exceptionally well resourced with up to date ICT equipment, both in our computer suite, and throughout the school. Every class is equipped with an interactive whiteboard, data projector and visualisers, and has access to digital microscopes, cameras, movie-makers, a class set of laptops, macbooks and ipads. Our school library has grown to be an impressive collection of both fiction and non-fiction books and is a pleasant place to enjoy reading.

There are a total of seven classrooms:

  • Squirrels (Reception)
  • Rabbits (Year 1)
  • Hedgehogs (Year 2)
  • Badgers (Year 3)
  • Owls (Year 4)
  • ICT Suite and Library
  • Foxes: Dedicated Music/ Drama room

There are three playgrounds, a pond teeming with wildlife and extensive playing fields.
