Safeguarding

At Trinity CE First School we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Child protection is one very important aspect of safeguarding.  It refers to the activity which is undertaken to protect specific children who are suffering, or at risk of suffering, significant harm.

We will usually discuss any concerns we might have about your child with you.  However, there may be occasion when we need to consult with other agencies such as Children’s Services Social Care, before we contact you.  We have a duty of care to your child and are legally bound to take such action.

At Trinity CE First School we actively support the Government’s Prevent Agenda to counter radicalism and extremism.
