School trip - We are still in need of 5 parents for the Reception and Year 1 trip to Upton Country Park on Tuesday 14th June next week. If you are able to help please let Mrs Worsley know in the office. Unfortunately if we don't have enough adults to support the ratio of adults to children then the trip will not be able to go ahead, thank you.

This week we will be focusing on PE (dance) for home learning. Discuss these questions with your child:

What is a safe space?

What number do we count to in dance?

Why do we use counting?

 

Now make up a space dance using the skills we have learnt in PE. You could use a song or find some space music to dance to! Get an adult to count to help keep you in time with the music, and see if you can change your movement after 8 counts like we did in PE. If you would like to you can video your dance and put it on your Tapestry for me to see!

These four words are our key vocabulary from our new story 'You Can't Eat a Princess', we have discussed them in school this week, but they can have a go at explaining these words to someone at home. Then make an alien picture, just like in our story! You can even name your alien! Please hand home learning in if you would like me to have a look!

See if you answered the questions correctly by safely observing changes in the sky at different times of the day. Support your child to link changes in the sky to other observations e.g. changes in temperature and brightness. Enjoy becoming scientists!

After they have logged in they can explore any of the activities they want on there. You can use and iPad or computer to access Purple Mash.
